Diane Rodriguez was a force of nature-
a talented artist, the brightest of spirits, and a true friend.
She left us far too soon and we mourn her loss.
In celebration of her life and accomplishments we are sharing links to some of the tributes that have been written, which you will find below. We have also included a beautiful essay written by Diane.
For many years I had the joy and honor, along with my dear friends and colleagues of the Women’s Working Group (WWG), of going on an annual retreat with Diane. The WWG has met far and wide, every summer, since 1997.
Together with Diane, we reflected together on so many subjects- our shared field of art and culture, current events and politics, our families and personal lives. We all loved her wisdom, her humor and her fierceness.
Diane will be deeply missed by the Women’s Working Group.
